The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has directed both parties in the on going legal battle between VeryDarkMan (VDM), and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, to maintain the status quo pending further proceedings.
The legal tussle arose after Prophet Fufeyin sued VeryDarkMan over alleged defamatory statements concerning his miracle products.. 
According to Wikipedia, Maintaining the status quo means keeping things the way they currently are, without making any changes. In the context of a legal battle, it means that both parties are required to refrain from taking any actions that would alter the current situation until the court makes a further decision.
